  2. She is innocent - no matter how strangely or confused or calm or upset she may or may not have behaved according to the 'witnesses' believe how one should or should not behave after finding a friend murdered.
Non of these could tell how they would act in her place, non of them could guarantee to act more rational, more as expected, nearer to demands of police, of onlookers, of old towm drunkards or the like (such as have called to give a 'witness' - a 'witness' of what really?).
There are a bunch of people who have become badly guilty of mobbing for a sort of modern inquisition! This is what you should not wish your worst enemy to stumble in!
A lot of people have acted ugly, disgusting and in fact let out their lowest instincts on that girl.
If she shows a stern face she has been blamed for it - if she tried a smile, clearly a smile for help to her lawyer, a totally understandeable gesture, she blamed for it again - if she reacts it is said 'her defense is about to crumble (who of you could state he or she would not break down sooner or later under these continuing threads - no matter if guity or not) - if she does not react she is blamed for that too.

What a world - what a sort of 'justice'!!!

    1. every body has his own opinion on this matter. Its better for the judiciary to decide the fate for her.

  4. FireFemme: no one except for herself knows wether she is innocent or not. so stop saying things you don´t know.
the only thing is, that one is definitly innocent until proven guilty. thats law.

  5. There is not enough evidence to convict Amanda in an American Court. In an Italian courn though.........

  6. she should be held to the same sandards as the suspects of the "9-11" incident;
Advanced interogation will have her speak the truth and there is no need for her defence tam to have acces to evidence against her.
And if for some flaw in the justice system she might be inocient then preventive detention is in order to prevent any future crimes.

  8. Guilty as hell. End of.

  9. guilty or not, for justice it depends on whats inside the process. our beliefs over that issue, based on what the media says, what her parents say or on her portraits make no difference at all. she was convicted guilty today, and that does not mean it was unfare; it means that is what the jurors thought after viewing the process, and i believe she had good lawyers.

  10. I don't understand how the parents of the victim are standing for the authorities version of events which make their daughter look like a pervert and place their daughter engaging in a slimy sick foursome orgy before being snuffed. Neither girl looked like the type to be involved in such things. If such a thing actually happened the crime scene would have been lousy with fluids of every kind, yet all they did was find DNA from Rudy Guede, who admitted 'consensual sex', although there were signs of rape. He even left his waste products there.

Everything I read indicates an innocent American who is being railroaded because she is American.

    Shame on Italy.

  11. She found guilty because she is american ?|

bullshit...Italians like american, i know because i used to live there.
She is murderer along with her ex. What can explain more her DNA on the knife where Meredith's blood found

  12. to last post. GUILTY!~!!!!!!!!

should have not been doing drugs and drinking etc. it would not have happened.

  13. she is pretty hot any way *

  14. She was found guilty because she is guilty. She made up stories in the first instance to cover her tracks and has shown no remorse. If she was obese and ugly people would not questioning the verdict.

  15. Damn shame that everyone keeps talking about how HOT she is.

    gross.

The woman is on trial for murder!
Regardless of being guilty or not, why he hell is she smiling all the damn time?
This isn't a game, this is someone's life we are talking about.

    so sad.

  16. The reason she is smiling is because what else can she do? She has shown every kind of emotion she can show. But yet people keep pointing out the fact that she is smiling. I'm not defending her, but I'm defending the fact that none of us can judge her based on circumstances we don't understand.

Lots of people do odd things under extreme amounts of stress. Maybe she smiles all the time because that her nitch.

Also the amount of DNA they found on the knife would never have passed for being significant enough in an American court.

This isn't game that we are talking about, This IS not only someONE's life this is multiple peoples' lives. Now based on the significantly small amount of evidence they have linking them together we have put a 21 year old girl in prison based entirely on circumstantial evidence. She will not get out until she is 47 years old.

Now take that into consideration. If they had more SOLID evidence, that would be one thing, but they have circumstantial evidence.

Sure they may have found some DNA of hers on the knife, but they were ROOMATES. There could be DNA all over the place, it's just the point that don't you think if she was going to kill someone her own age in Italy, where she is STUDENT, she would have done it in a more discrete fashion? She is American. And most Americans have been conditioned with all the tendencies of creative and much less obvious ways of killing people. Whether through television or video games.

I just think the evidence isn't strong enough to hold ANYONE in jail. I think that Officials just wanted SOMEONE in jail to keep people from panicing. So who better than the girls bestfriend?

  17. Too hot to be guilty.

  18. So sad that four young lives were ruined because of what had happened.. As for Amanda and Rafaelle, there were no solid evidences for them to be jailed for such a long time..what if one day comes and they're proven innocent..

In Guede's case..I had no doubt that he's involve because of the traces of his DNA in the entire crime scene and inside Meredith's body..

Nevertheless, we dont know what really had took place..who the killer(s) and who are innocent...

Its just extremely bitter for meredith and her family because she's already gone...all three still has the chance whether to correct if they really are involved or be proven innocent..

  19. i think she's innocent...

  21. I BELIEVE IN MY HEART THAT SHE IS NOT GUILTY CAUSE FOR ONE THY ARE ONLY LOOKING AT THE FACT THAT SHES AMERICAN AN IN ANOTHER COUNTRY I THINK THAT THE GUY DONE THIS HISSELF. ONLY GOD KNOWNS THE TURTH AN I PRAY THAT IT COMES OUT SO THIS GIRL CAN COME HOME TO HER FAMILY THANKS AND MAY GOD BLESS U ALL( EVERYTIME AN AMERICAN GOES TO ANOTHER COUNTRY SOMETHING HAPPENS AND THEY NEVER TREAT THEM LIKE HUMAN THEY TREAT THEM LIKE ANIMALS

  22. From Greg :

Accidents happens. The fact someone is american US doesn't allow him/her to kill someone else , even by "accident" (excepted in : Irak, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Italy by now, etc etc etc).

Justice and Courts in Italy is true justice exactly the same as in the US ; a jury will decide.

    ReplyDelete
  23. From Greg (edit) : oh, and i want to add an advice : don't assume others care about you just because you are "american". In fact, others just care about bad people and their behaviour, even though they are not american .. and even though they are. No jokers !

  24. The very first time I've read about the murder and I saw the picture of Amanda. I believed that she didn't kill her. No motives.
